Making some glitch samples today. I like to do recursive sampling where I take a regular unglitched track and slice it, repitch it, add lots of effects, glitch it up… and then do it over and over again. This one went through about 4 passes and the source material has been almost entirely transformed. Once I’m happy with the clip, I slice it up into many small snippets and use them in my tracks. I like to load them into Tidalcycles and scan through all the samples randomly to get unexpected results.
