  • Hunter Angler Gardener Cook

    https://honest-food.net

At times I’ve been super into foraging, fishing, and for a short time even hunting. This site has a great combination of anecdotes, instructions, and recipes. Hank sometimes focuses on lesser-valued food items like offal or weeds, and I appreciate that. If you want to up your wild food game, give this site a visit or two.

  • Synthtopia

    https://synthtopia.com

A never-ending barrage of synth news, new gear, album releases, links to interesting articles. It’s a bit of a firehose! When I want to stay up-to-date (to the minute) I go over to Synthtopia and see what’s going on. Only negative is the comments, sometimes there are some real assholes. Maybe skip those.

  • Create Digital Music

    https://cdm.link

My favorite music technology blog. I’ve been reading for a very long time (mid 2000’s maybe?). So much good stuff: album reviews, new technology, some random musings. Most of the music tech news I get is through here. Peter Kirn is awesome!

  • Kicks Condor

    https://kickscondor.com

A huge inspiration for my website, this is one of the most interesting websites I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. There’s all sorts of weird stuff happening: sounds when you click things, floating bubbles, changing backgrounds, and a lot of the text uses the Chicago font, the same font from those old Macs from the 90’s. I love it.

  • Goblin.tools

    https://goblin.tools

A super cool resource for neurospicy/neurodivergent folks. A suite of tools to help us with executive dysfunction, task-related stress, converting “spicy” thoughts to “classy ones,” compiling braindumps into a list of tasks, and more. It uses AI, which I’m generally opposed to. On the other hand, it’s a wonderful use of the technology that can really help people.
